About Journal

The Hellenic Journal of Nutrition and Dietetics is the official scientific journal of the Hellenic Dietetic Association. It is a bilingual journal with each issue combining original articles, reviews and position statements, providing a valuable referece tool for any greek specialist concearned with the field of nutrition and dietetics.

In the Hellenic Journal of Nutrition and Dietetics manuscripts can be submitted under the following classifications:

  • Clinical Nutrition
  • Nutrition in the lifecycle
  • Nutritional epidemiology
  • Nutrition and disease prevention
  • Public health nutrition
  • Nutritional anthropology and eating behavior
  • Nutrition and biochemical-genetic markers
  • Methodology in nutrition research

Aim of the journal is to provide scientific information on issues regarding Nutrition and Health for Dieticians, Physicians, Epidimiologists and many other scientists studying the science of food, nutrition, and dietetics.

Each Volume consists of two issues and two supplements per year. In the supplements, abstracts from Congresses organised from the Hellenic Dietetic Association as well as national guidelines will be included.

The Journal is published since March 2010.
