Fasting plasma TAG levels were 11% lower the day after exercise compared\u00a0to control (43.1\u00b15.0 and 49.7\u00b19.3 mg\/dL respectively, P<0.05) whereas VLDL-TAG levels were 29% lower (12.7\u00b14.1\u00a0and 18.2\u00b15.3 mg\/dl respectively, P<0.01). Hepatic VLDL-TAG secretion rate (3.62\u00b10.98 and 4.52\u00b11.56 \u03bcmol\/min, exercise vs\u00a0control respectively, P>0.05) did not change significantly. Exercise increased VLDL-TAG clearance rate by 21% (26.81\u00b17.27 and\u00a022.31\u00b14.98 mL\/min, exercise vs control respectively; P<0.05).
